The success story of JANSSEN COSMETICS began with the vision to create skincare products that could do more than the existing products on the cosmetics market. Founder Walther Janssen sought highly effective active substances that could penetrate beneath the skin and go beyond known superficial skin improvement. Deep action into the lowest skin layers was the challenge faced in 1990. In 1997, Walther and Elka Janssen founded the family business, which is now run in the second generation by their sons Reinhard and Ulrich Janssen – a family dedicated to skin health.

A symbiosis of pharmaceutical and cosmetic active ingredients forms the basis of our products, enabling the transition from pure beauty care to scientifically backed skincare. Only ingredients that deliver visible and tangible results and offer high tolerability are used in JANSSEN COSMETICS products.

Working closely with renowned dermatologists and leading research laboratories, we create system care products that meet different skin needs – for immediate and long-term improvement of the skin’s appearance.
